Inspiring story

This Korean girl inspires me too much due to her extraordinary capacity to face and overcome odds with his mother from the beginning of her life.

Lee He Ah was born with severe congenital disabilities and mild brain damage. She has only 2 finger in each hand. However, She plays piano since 6.

Her first piano teacher told her that She wouldn´t be able to play piano. To make it worse, she is not able to read or memorize music due to brain dysfunctional problems. However ,with power of determination and perseverance she could memorize and plays a difficult Chopin’s work: Fantasie Impromptu. It took her 5 years to do it.

Her mother wanted your daughter plays piano for 2 important reasons: She needs to learn how to hold a pencil and her mother thought If she could master the piano, she could master everything is her life. Her mother has cancer and most part of her life have fighted for her daughter preparing her for the future and teaching her How to be a independent woman.

Nowadays, she has give more than 200 appearances all around the world and has won many recognition awards. She continues given concerts.

“Do not compare yourself to others. Try hard to become whatever you want to be.”
